RAAAM

RAAAM has developed a Test Vehicle for validating and characterizing its GCRAM IP in an advanced TSMC process. As part of this, Avnet has performed backend work for a RISC-V CPU running at ~1GHz.

The work had various challenges including a difference in tool chain between RAAAM and Avnet, requiring us to convert the DBs for integration inside the TV.

Avnet people demonstrated professionalism and their experience is evident. Working with Avnet people was always in a good atmosphere while actively trying to solve problems together as they arise.

The CPU was delivered as a hard block, integrated inside the device and we already have a working silicon.
